Belgium Day 2 & 3

Day 2 was bright and glorious :)

went to Xiu's sch first for classes, and I just sat there and acted like a biz student hahah.

lost 100% of the time.

 queueing for sandwich!! SO YUMMY.

Zara and Pull&Bear is relatively cheaper here in Belgium!!!

but I heard Spain is even cheaper cos that's where the shop originates from.

back home for dinner whipped up by Xiu <3 

SO YUMMY NOM NOM.

I love home cooked meals :)

groceries in Brussels are also ALOT cheaper than Lund :(

especially eggs omg, so I ate a lot of eggs in 3 days HAHAH.

we went to Ghent/Gent (depending on language) on DAY 3! :)

took a train, was about 40 mins only, very fast.

rainy day... but the skies cleared up at about 12pm YAY.

Xiu and Jing Liang, travelling mates for the day wheeee!

Arrived at the main station in Ghent - Gent-Sint-Pieters station

it takes about 30 mins via foot to the city center but you can also take a tram for 1.30 euros.

we walked to the city center and took the tram back when we were tired~

and we stumbled upon an Asian grocery shop along the way,

SO HAPPY hahahha.

FINALLY~ we reached the tourist area wheeeee.

ZARA HOME. first time seeing this!!! 

settled on Macs for lunch! 6.70 euros for a meal, VERY EX considering how cheap macs is in SG.

but its like the same price as Lund... so I guess its fine hahah.

the filet is quite different too, diff sauce and bun.

the weather was AWESOME :D

you can walk the entire area, all the attractions are close by.
its only about 1 hour to cover the area if you don't enter any museums or whatnot.

we saw some fair going on.

back home for my last dinner in Brussels :'(

we had Balachan long beans SOOOO YUMMY.

my lovely housemates for 3 days :)

it was awesome!! love their company and we laugh at everything hahah.

can't wait for Xiu and Shir to come visit me next weekend YAY.
