Anyways, just got back from Dublin on Sunday and it was an awesome trip :)
I didn't expect it to be so pretty and the Irish people were so nice!
We also learned a great deal about the history in our walking tour~
Left for Dublin from Lund in the morning and arrived to a sunny day :D
so happy! cos Dublin is like London, always rainy.

we all agreed its nicer than the ones in other parts of Europe god knows why.

the bus stops at several stops in town so you can just hop off at whichever one you find nearest to your hostel/ hotel.
HQ and I flew to Dublin to meet Xiu who flew from Brussels!
Shir joined us the next day hehe.

two of us slept in this bed and HQ slept in another single bed upstairs!
cool to have the stairs in the bedroom hehe.
no private bathroom though, we had to share the common one.
starts at 2pm near the City Hall.
on our way to look for the walking tour... pretty sights everywhere!

while looking for the meeting point, we stumbled upon the hippie area of Dublin,
TEMPLE BAR!
its super nice and so hipster wahhhhhhhh~

the tour guide was really funny and interactive!
She's a Dublin-er so I guess it kind of makes it better since she knows alot of stuff ^^
We learned about the history between England and Ireland, and that Northern Ireland is considered a separate state etc.
We learned it in school before but reliving it in Dublin is a whole new experience all together!!!
and before that trip, we didn't know that NI still uses pounds while the Republic of I uses euros.
this is apparently a hidden gem even the locals don't know! super pretty :)
and its for helicopter landings haha.
telling us about the story of a woman who changed the drug use of the people in Dublin.

met Xiu 3 times on exchange :')
which is probably more than the amount of times we would meet in a semester in Singapore.
oh the irony.
the breakfast menu looks amazing! so we came back the next day ;)

after that we went on to the campus of Trinity College, very pretty right~
and the last stop of the tour was St Stephen's Green~
the whole tour was about 3 hours!!!

after the tour ended we went to lepak (rest/ nua) in the park cos the weather was AWESOME.

We went to explore the shopping area after that ^^
girls... HAHAHAH.

we had ice-cream here on the last day and YUMMMERS, IT WAS GOOD.
walked into a small alley when we saw the advertisement.
5 euros for a BIG box of Thai food, super worth it ^^
Dublin in general is actually not expensive!
Food and selective retail shops are very affordable hehe.
I guess the use of Euros makes a huge difference as compared to London which uses pounds.

THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP.
This is like Primark in London, its EXACTLY the same, even the labels on the apparel says PRIMARK.
EXCEPT IT IS IN EUROS.

we went in a grand total of 3 times or so hahaha.
really wanted to buy everything!!!
but the one at O'Connell street is somewhat quite messy :/
the other one in the other shopping street, Henry Street is MUCH better :D

we went to Marks & Spencer after that to look for supper hehe.
reduced prices after 7pm or 8pm~
first time trying this cheese scone YUMMY!!!
love all the M&S food, they are amazzzzing.

the next day we met Shir and went for a very hearty brunch + more shopping~
